The entry is lined with olive trees and lavender.The owner loved the idea of smothering the house and outbuildings with Boston ivy.We collaborated with another designer to create this flower-filled space.Native sycamore trees, iceberg roses, and Boston ivy fill this private space behind the main residence.A dry streambed outside the loggia controls runoff in a natural way.The owner provided the bench. We surrounded it with Boston ivy, germander, Gartenmeister fuchsia and other plants.Boston ivy climbs the walls. Roses and columnar junipers fill in the space.Who wouldn’t love to hang out here beneath the oak trees?
